Profiles in Service Breakfast Speaker Series
President, Boston Red Sox

Sam Kennedy is President of the Boston Red Sox. A native of Brookline, MA, who grew up within walking distance of Fenway Park, Kennedy joined the Red Sox in 2002 as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. He was part of the first wave of executives the current ownership group brought to Boston from the San Diego Padres, which also included his Brookline High School classmate Theo Epstein. Kennedy became the club's President on October 16, 2015, succeeding President/CEO emeritus Larry Lucchino.
In addition to his Red Sox role, Kennedy is also President of Fenway Sports Management (FSM), and serves on the board of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; the Dana-Farber Visiting Committee for Institute Initiatives; The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce; and Camp Harbor View.
Auditor Suzanne Bump

Suzanne M. Bump, is the 25th Auditor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the first female to serve in this role in the state's history.
Prior to her election, Auditor Bump served in former Governor Deval Patrick's cabinet as Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development and represented the Town of Braintree for eight years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In the private sector, she worked as a business advocate, legal counsel, and sat on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations including the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and St. Francis House. A native of Whitman, Massachusetts, Auditor Bump attended Cardinal Spellman High School and is a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University School of Law.
Dr. Vanessa Kerry
Co-Founder and CEO, Seed Global

Dr. Vanessa Kerry, MD, MSc, is the founder and CEO of Seed Global Health, a non-profit working in over 20 sites in five countries to help sustainably change health outcomes through leadership development. She is also the Associate Director of Partnerships and Global Initiatives at Mass General Global Health and Director of Global Public Policy and Social Change program at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Kerry is a Draper Richards Kaplan Social Entrepreneur, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and has been published in numerous academic journals and media outlets. She graduated from Yale University summa cum laude and Harvard Medical School cum laude, completing her Internal Medicine residency and Critical Care Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. She earned her Master's in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from the London Schools of Economics, Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
