Overview

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum acquires, preserves, arranges and describes, and provides access to primary-source materials in all formats that document the life, political career, and times of John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States.

In addition to the papers of John F. Kennedy, the Library’s archival holdings include more than 400 collections of personal papers and institutional records: those of other Kennedy family members; Kennedy administration officials and staff; and pertinent associates, authors, and institutions.

Other archival holdings include: the audiovisual collections, oral history collections, Ernest Hemingway Collection, and print materials collection.
