The Hemingway Room is open weekdays by appointment only.
The Ernest Hemingway Collection is open to on-site researchers in the Library's Main Research Room and Audiovisual Research Room, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:30. Researchers interested in working on site are encouraged to review the JFK Library's Onsite Research page.
The Hemingway Room and the Research Room are closed on weekends and federal holidays.
Secondary, college, graduate, and formal and informal continuing education groups (including book clubs) are always welcome.
Visits to the Hemingway Room and interactive on-site classroom experiences drawing on the Collection's holdings can be tailored to your group's interests and needs.
At least three weeks prior to your desired visit, please contact Hemingway Program Specialist Dr. Hilary Justice at Hilary.Justice@nara.gov.
