Create a beautiful event steeped in history and surrounded by breathtaking views.

Included in the rental fee is a JFK Library Event Coordinator, parking, security and access to the Museum Exhibits.  Daytime rentals grant access to the Museum Exhibits from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.  Evening rentals grant exclusive access to the Museum Exhibits from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Event times can be extended for an additional $1,000 per hour up to midnight.

The Smith Hall

In the striking 5,600 square foot hall of the Stephen E. Smith Center, named for President Kennedy's trusted adviser and brother-in-law, guests enjoy breathtaking views of Boston Harbor and the Boston skyline.  This space is versatile and works well for dinners, receptions and theater-style events for up to 500 guests.

The Museum Pavilion

The Museum Pavilion is a nine-story glass atrium with stunning views of Boston Harbor, the Harbor Islands, the city skyline and the sparkling waters off Columbia Point.  The 5,800 square foot space was designed as an area of reflection on the accomplishments and unfinished work of the Kennedy Presidency.

Smith Hall & the Museum Pavilion

For events with more than 500 guests the Library requires that both Smith Hall and the Museum Pavilion be used.  The Library can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for an indoors standing reception.

Library Grounds

The spectacular seaside setting is perfect for New England clambakes and other outdoor events.  All outdoor events require a tent (with the exception of the Harbor Side Terrace).  The facility rental fee includes one day of tent set-up prior to the event and one day of tent break-down after the event.  These fees do not include the tent.

The Harbor Side Terrace is available for a 90 minute cocktail reception for a fee of $1,500 when used in conjunction with Smith Hall or the Pavilion.  Tenting is not required on the Harbor Side Terrace.

The Library can accommodate up to 1,900 people using Smith Hall, the Pavilion, and the Library Grounds.

Additional Event Rental Space

The Learning Center Classroom, with a beautiful view of Boston Harbor, is the perfect setting for VIP receptions, dinners or board meetings.  It is available on a limited basis.  The Classroom is $2,500 from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or $3,300 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.  When available, it can be used for a 90 minute cocktail reception when rented in conjunction with Smith Hall or the Pavilion.

The Dave Powers room, named for Kennedy's trusted adviser and the Kennedy Library's first Museum Curator, is available on a limited basis for board meetings, small lectures or breakout sessions.  The Powers room is $700 for four hours or $1,000 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Atlantic room is named for the sea on which John F. Kennedy grew up sailing.  Its permanent conference style set-up works well for board meetings, small breakout sessions or a green room for speakers and VIP.  The Atlantic room is $500 for four hours or $700 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
